Hello everyone! Ben, Lucy & Kylie here bringing you another of our thrilling blogs- this week it's been jointly written by Lucy & Kylie (and proof read by Gladstone, the hounds' PA).
We've received more questions from our fans this week and the one we've pulled out of the post sack is from Alan in Aldersley. Alan would like to know what our FAVOURITE food is and what our LEAST FAVOURITE food is.
Well Alan, thank you for your question, we have mulled it over for about 8 seconds and our answers are as follows:
Ben says his favourite food is 'everything going'. Lucy and I have never heard of this food. It must be something Ben's discovered which we knew nothing about. We'll have to ask him to tell us more about 'everything going' as we may like it too!
Ben says his least favourite food is 'not applicable'. Again, we've never heard of this either, but it doesn't sound very appetising in any case so we think we would give it a miss even if it was on offer.
Lucy's says her favourite food is anything which contains fish: pilchards, sardines, tuna and mackerel to name but a few,
Lucy's says her least favourite food is doggy toothpaste. I (Kylie) have tried to tell her it's not actually a food but she says she hates it all the same, especially as the servants insist on brushing her teeth on a daily basis.
Kylie says doesn't really have a favourite food, she prefers fuss. However, when pushed for an answer she said she's partial to a bit of tuna.
Kylie's says her least favourite food is finding out that the Bonios box is nearly empty (no we didn't understand that answer either!)
Right, thank you for your questions- please keep them coming. We're off to see if we can find out more about 'everything going'. If Ben will tell us about it, it sounds amazing!
Kylie, Ben & Lucy.
Oh hello there! Sorry, I was just doing my yoga workout and didn't realise it was Hound Chat time again and for the fourth week in a row, time to answer questions from our fans! In case you hadn't realised, this is Kylie Hound talking to you. I love doing my yoga moves, I find practising yoga keeps me nice and supple and my mind sharp. Even though I'm approaching 12, I can still put my legs in the most bizarre positions as you can see in the picture opposite. I can do 'legs up the wall pose', 'legs up the back of the armchair pose', 'legs up the back of my head pose', in fact, 'legs just about anywhere pose!'
Right onto your questions, and this week's question comes from Cynthia in Coven. Cynthia would like to know which of the four seasons in the year is our favourite.
Well, Cynthia, my favourite time of year is definitely winter. I love coming in from a walk in the cold and curling up in my favourite armchair. The servants put the heating on and I get nice and warm while they prepare my food or fetch me a well earned biscuit.
Lucy tells me her favourite time of year is spring. She loves the smell of new flowers and grass after it's just been cut. Lucy loves to explore and sniff things and she's in her element when there are lots of new flowers blooming. Sometimes she brings a flower in from the garden and leaves it on her bed. Maybe she's trying to say we smell, who knows?!
Ben says his favourite time of year is Autumn- mainly because he loves to kick his back legs out and when there are loads of leaves and mud he can aim it at me, Lucy and / or the servants and cover them in muck! He finds it highly amusing even if no one else does!
Hope that answers your question Cynthia.
Until next time, I'm going to spend 10 minutes in 'Reclining Cobblers pose' and then I'm off for a nap.

Evening friends, Lucy hound here! Our mail sack has been full to bursting with more of your questions this week! We chose this week's question by placing our paws over Kylie's eyes, and we then asked her to point her nose at one of the questions. The question she picked comes from Donna in Dunstall, Wolverhampton. Donna wants to know whether us hounds are football fans and if we are, she asks us to name our favourite team.
Well Donna, thank you for your question. I can tell you that Ben is a big football fan. He is often seen watching Soccer Saturday on, errr, a Saturday. He'll sit there from start to finish gripped by the afternoon's events and we sometimes have to cover our ears because his language can be a little colourful if results aren't going the right way. Ben tells us he is a lifelong West Ham United fan, mainly because it reminds him of pork, a food he adores.
Kylie isn't a huge fan of football. She prefers watching documentaries and crime thrillers. However, when pushed, she admitted she has a soft spot for Norwich City. When asked why, she said she hears it's a friendly city and she hopes if she visited she'd get loads of fuss from the locals.
I'm not a massive football fan either but as the male servant is an Everton fan, I'll say Liverpool just to annoy him.
Hope that answers your question Donna.
Right, the female servant has just opened our treats cupboard so we're off to investigate. Keep the questions coming, we always enjoy reading them and answering them in a thoughtful and intelligent way.
Until next week,
Lucy, Ben & Kylie
Hello there! This is Kylie Hound here getting ready to answer your questions! This week's question comes from someone called Terry in Tettenhall. Terry would like to know what Ben, Lucy and myself consider to be the meaning of life!!
Well Terry, I have to say that we're not used to answering questions of that magnitude, especially on a Friday afternoon when we've just digested our pilchards and are in the process of sleeping them off.
However, as you've taken the time to send the question, we shall do our very best to give full, thought provoking and considered answers, so here goes.
I asked Lucy what her view on the meaning of life is. Lucy pondered for a moment, looked confused and then answered 'rabbits, pilchards, walkies, sleepies, biscuits, sofas, chairs, brandy and belly rubs'
A very thoughtful answer from Lucy and probably the most intelligent thing she's ever said- these questions really bring the best out of us hounds!
I asked Ben what his view on the meaning of life is. Ben woke up, flapped his ears at me, yawned and then went back to sleep, so I conclude from that he doesn't really have a view on the subject. Sorry Terry, I did try.
Finally, my view on the meaning of life is plenty of cuddles, a warm bed to lie on, more cuddles, nice food and a jolly good walk.
Thanks again for the question Terry, and we hope our answers will help you on your way and will provide a useful resource if you're ever looking into the meaning of life yourself.
Keep the questions coming folks, the deeper and more meaningful the question the better as far as we're concerned!
Until next week,
Kylie, Ben and Lucy.

We are occasionally lively greyhounds who live with two human servants. Sadly our house- mate Ben crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 23/09/18, just a few hours after writing his final blog. We miss him so much but we know he's running free and no longer in pain.
