Good afternoon one and all! Ben, Kylie and Lucy here bringing you our weekly update!
As you know, we love answering your questions but this week we have had to deal with a complaint - from the servants would you believe?!
The issue they've raised occurred last Wednesday. We were working hard having a quick snooze when we were rudely awoken by the sound of talking. We listened in to the conversation for a few minutes and overheard the servants complaining that they never have anywhere to sit in their own house.
Can you believe it? 'How ungrateful!' we hear you say and we couldn't agree more!
Well, as you know, us hounds take all feedback and / or complaints (we don't get many complaints thankfully, why would we)? very seriously and have thought long and hard about the servants' concerns (about 30 seconds) and asked Gladstone our PA to send them the following response:
Thank you for waking us up so abruptly last week. We know you didn't intend to interrupt our sleeping but, well, you did. Can we suggest in future that if you choose to have a conversation that you do it whilst we're awake, i.e. during meal times or when we're out on our walks?
We understand that you are unhappy that you apparently had nowhere to sit on Wednesday 1st March 2017, at approximately 6pm?
We have done a thorough investigation into your concerns and can confirm that you are talking rubbish.
Although we were occupying the sofa and armchairs, we can confirm that there are many alternatives available if you wish to sit down. When we are sat / lying on the furniture, you are most welcome to sit on our beds, which are located on the floor. They are very comfortable and have hardly been used. If you'd prefer not to sit on the floor you could always locate the deckchairs and use those instead. If it's a nice day why not sit in the garden for a couple of hours or even if it's not a nice day you could still sit in the garden if you wish (but if you talk please keep the noise to a dull roar). If neither of the first two options appeals to you and you'd prefer not to sit on the floor or sit outside you could always spend a couple of hours in the car. In fact, if you sit in the car and close the doors and keep the windows up you could talk quite loudly and it wouldn't bother us at all!
We hope our suggestions will provide a satisfactory remedy to your concerns.
If you have any further questions please don't take them up with us as the matter is now closed.
Kylie, Ben and Lucy.'
We sent the above response to the servants yesterday and it seems to have done the trick!
Right, until next week we're off to fetch the servants from the car as our feeding time is 10 minutes overdue- we should make a complaint about them!
Until next week, take care and always give seating priority to your pets!

We are occasionally lively greyhounds who live with two human servants. Sadly our house- mate Ben crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 23/09/18, just a few hours after writing his final blog. We miss him so much but we know he's running free and no longer in pain.
