Hello one and all and a happy new year!
Do you like our photo from Christmas day? That's Lucy on the left, me (Kylie) in the middle and Ben on the right. The humans in the picture are our servants whose names escape me. It is however good to see them in their rightful place at the back of the picture.
Hope you all had a good Christmas and new year. I have been in the wars again sadly with my poorly nails. I had to go to the vets a few times over Christmas because one of my nails had split and it eventually got removed altogether because it kept bleeding. I'm feeling much better now and have just finished my course of antibiotics.
Apart from that, Christmas was rather pleasant. We had several batches of oatcakes to get through. It was a difficult job eating them all but someone had to do it! The female servant took the liberty of counting the number of cakes she'd made so that the pesky male servant couldn't pinch one! A very smart move on her part we have to say. Our granny also bought us some treats so we've been very spoilt over Christmas. Sadly, we weren't allowed any brandy but Lucy only has to sniff it and she's out like a light so it's probably for the best, particularly where she's concerned.
Now Christmas is over we're looking forward to the spring. We don't really like walking out in this dark, cold and wet weather and we're tired of hearing the servants moaning about how cold it is! How do they think we feel? We have nothing on our feet unlike them, and the male servant wears a woolly hat and still complains it's cold! Honestly, he should walk a mile in our paws!
Anyway, until next time, take care and I hope you're sticking to any resolutions you've made!

We are occasionally lively greyhounds who live with two human servants. Sadly our house- mate Ben crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 23/09/18, just a few hours after writing his final blog. We miss him so much but we know he's running free and no longer in pain.
